The logo has two levels of hierarchy. Primary: The logo used for all brand communications. Secondary: Logos for regional networks and international task teams in core colours, along with name (Africa Trails) and descriptor (Regional Network).
The wordmark takes the form of a circular device, softened ever so slightly by the rounded corners of the letters.

All four core colours are applied in the signpost symbol which stands for growth, progression, nourishment, balance and support.

The three divider lines act as a subtle reference to the orienting lines of a compass.
